The work of Wegener (1885 ; 1920) is studied as a contribution to speech act theory. Wegener analyses from a fonctionalist point of view the comprehension of speech acts (especially the "order") in typical situations. He stresses as well the importance of dialogue for the fonctioning and the evolution of language
