This article publishes a short Greek inscription of ca 625 A.D. found in 2009; it comes from a tombe privilegiée excavated at Punta Secca, Sicily. The text alludes to Isaiah 6.3 and is part of the Christian anaphora prayer in the Eucharist. The magical aspects of the inscription are also analyzed, including the design that surrounds the text panel; remarkably, the closest parallels for it are to be found in a wooden object dating to the Bronze Age and in Iron Age rock art
