This paper focuses on the revolt of Telesphoros, a renegade general of Antigonos Monophthalmos who garrisoned Elis and ransacked Olympia. The author supports Meeus's dating of the revolt to summer 312 and argues that it took place immediately before the Olympic Games of 312, an important and hitherto unrecognised synchronism
