This work is the result of studies about the space production in Aparecida do Taboado, estate of Mato Grosso do Sul, seeking out to understand the foundation process, by means of rural landowners from the state of So Paulo and Minas Gerais; and analyze the contribution of the Catholic Church, as well as unveil the ways of income extraction in the "saint lands" through the enphyteusis regime.
