Abstract: The newspaper A Plebe was one of the most important communication vectors within striking manifestations in Sao Paulo at the end of the second decade of the twentieth century. A bias little explored by studies that have taken as the object is also its relevance as an articulator and condenser internationalist and transnational political strategies. This article aims to explore the internationalist political culture in this journal in question, including a careful analysis of the militants involved in the construction and writing of the paper and other journals associated. From a current bibliography that highlights the transnational training in the world labor movement and an empirical analysis of the journal, we aim to contribute new perspectives to the study of political and union joints present in the First Republic in Brazil. Keywords: Working press; internationalism; Anarchism; Syndicalism
