Research Article| September 01 2001 Locating and Translating Meridians Sharon K. Hom Sharon K. Hom sharon hom's scholarship and practice focus on international human rights, Chinese law reform and critical legal theory. Her work explores cross-cultural networking strategies and the development of expanded roles for domestic, regional, and international non-governmental organizations (ngos). From 2001–2003, Professor Hom will be serving as a senior resident advisor to a major human rights ngo focusing on China. Her book publications include an edited collection, Chinese Women Traversing Diaspora: Memoirs, Essays, and Poetry (1999), and a Chinese-English lexicon on Women and Law (1995).
