Alexis is the author of the forthcoming book M Archive: After the End of the World (Duke University Press, 2018) and the acclaimed Spill: Scenes of Black Feminist Fugitivity (Duke University Press, 2016). She is also co-editor of the best-selling anthology Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines (PM Press, 2016). The excerpts published here are from M Archive: After the End of the World and are inspired by the Afro-Caribbean scholar M. Jacqui Alexander.
