This article means to explore the relational database project devoted to foreign women – that is, non-citizens – during classical Athens. This database, of which the architecture is meticulously detailed and justified, is focused on the individual, without forgetting its sources. The prominent documents used are epigraphic. From the use of the database we can highlight the transmission of names until this day and what it entails. In fact, whether voluntary or involuntary, positive or not, it takes part in the creation of a memory of individuals. This memory is personal, because of the events happening within the family, but also collective as it is taking place in the city’s area
