The discovery in 1985 of a lead mirror frame bearing a dionysiac decoration at Auch, the antique Augusta the leading town of the city of the Auscii, has been the occasion to make an inventory of that type of daily life objects. The places where mirror frames identical or similar with that of Auch have been found allow us to locate their workshop in the vicinity of Carnuntum a legionary camp in upper Pannonia. The Auch frame is a souvenir brought back by a soldier of the city after completing his military service on the banks of the Danube
