The first full-length study comparing expenditures on raising children by parental income, education, mother's employment status, family size, region where the family lives, race, and the type of post secondary education a child receives. Valuable information for parenthood education programs in schools and indispensable to the judicial system in setting uniform guidelines for child support awards.
