Mercado. Poder. Abstract This article aims to establish through the bibliographic exploratory method a dialogical analysis between identity, religion and marketing. Faced with a complex panorama of questions, our hypothesis is that in a modern world, where human identity is established in a fragmented, fluid and unfinished form, religion both 'survives' and continues to be a meaning-generating system. Identity must adapt to market tactics. As a result, religious marketing praxis can be observed as one of the structuring elements of contemporary religious identity. This is what we intend to articulate throughout this introductory discourse. Keywords: Identity. Religion. Market. Power
