the Northwest have experienced training in one or more of these instructional systems. They are being used for preservice and inservice training in one or more places in more than half of the states and in Guam, Samoa, the U.S. Trust Territories and several foreign countries. All of the twenty-four instructional systems are expected to be available by the end of 1976. The nature of these systems, their place in a program of professional development for educators, and the way they can be obtained will be described in the context of current social change and consequent needs for inservice training
