He is the author of Domestic Politics and International Narcotics Control: U.S. Relations with Mexico and Colombia, 1989–2000. ANÍBAL S. PÉREZ-LIÑÁN is assistant professor of political science and a member of the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of Presidential Impeachment and the New Political Instability in Latin America, and he has published various articles on Latin America in leading journals
