Henniger examines selected basic assumptions that relate to minority student recruitment. Those assump tions deal with the nature of the change process, the variety of options institu tions need in order to effectively recruit, and the necessity of cooperative plan ning and program implementation. Four categories of minority recruitment endeavors are discussed and examples of each are provided
