The rising prevalence of passenger vehicles is inextricably linked to the mounting environmental challenges we face. The decision to engage in unsustainable mobility behaviours is influenced not only by external circumstances but also by internal factors. It is therefore essential to create not only external conditions conducive to sustainable mobility but also incentives that activate internal factors if the goals of sustainable mobility are to be achieved. A growing body of literature posits that novel solutions should be developed in a co-creative manner with the very individuals for whom they are intended. The methodology of action research, which is performed in cyclical process in collaboration between researcher and research participants, is particularly conducive to this objective. This methodological approach was employed in an intervention study, during which the sustainable mobility initiative 'Move Green' was created, implemented and evaluated. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with initiative participants, who provided suggestions regarding the development and implementation of the intervention at a higher level. Following the combination of the intervention model used in the study with the participants' suggestions, the article presents a specific proposal for a soft sustainable mobility promotion measure: a gamified sustainable mobility application for work teams
