In the present article, we analyze the female homoerotic discourse in the Brazilian popular music in relation to the military dictatorship based on the censorious process of the phonogram "O Sorvete" (1974), of the assumed lesbian singer, composer and instrumentalist Tuca (1944 - 1978). After the rescue of the homoerotic issue in Brazilian music and the artist's trajectory, we discuss the practices of musical censorship and the strategies of defense of female homoerotic discourse, as well as the eroticism contained in Tuca's work. As a result, we raise questions about the conservative direction of the military dictatorship, the elevation of subjectivity and homoerotism to the political category in the post-1968 scenario and Tuca's invisibility within the official historiography of Brazilian popular-commercial song
