The relations between working class memory as class memory and communist memory as organizational memory. The first, living memory, is transmitted in the conservatory of words and gestures, as it does not have the means to gather the legacy of ils own experience in a heritage of things or of signs. The second, historical memory, is constantly formed and reformed in the party's memorization apparatus, depending on ils objectives. Each crosses and combines with the other, at the meeting points of class and militancy, without overlap ; sometimes they separate or are opposed at their points of divergence
