Les As. examinent la maniere dont une periode de la vie personnelle, l'histoire d'amour d'une jeune fille, est racontee et reconstruite dans le cadre d'une therapie familiale. Afin de ne pas se situer dans une perspective adulte (dominante), ils analysent certains episodes de facon a ce qu'ils refletent en partie la maniere dont la jeune fille aurait pu raconter son histoire a une personne de son âge ou a un confident, en se focalisant deliberemment sur la participation des adolescents dans le discours institutionnel. Ils tentent ainsi d'elucider quelques uns des fondements culturels (ordre moral et hierarchie familiale) du temps social dans le discours quotidien a propos du passe
