purpose of carrying out an intensive program of geographical studies in Hispanic America. In I922, with the publication of Mr. Alan G. Ogilvie's Geography of the Central Andes and the La Paz sheet of the Map of Hispanic America on the Millionth Scale, the first results of this program were made public. In I925 two more sheets were published. Seventeen more sheets have now been completed, bringing the number of published sheets to twenty out of a total of one hundred
