She has written articles on pregnancy, menstruation, false conceptions, female medical experts and the menopause and is currently finishing two books: Blood and Taboo: Attitudes to Menstruation in Early Modern France which is based on her doctoral work and Femmes en Fleurs: Femmes en Corps du Moyen Age aux Lumières which she is co-editing with Nicole Pellegrin.
