The author deals with the languages of legal discourse. He analyses the legal language in which one formulates the statutes, and three juridical languages in which one speaks about law. There are three types of juridical languages : juridical jurisprudential language in which the décisions of the application of law are formulated ; juridical scientific language proper to the legal sciences discourse in general, and to legal dogmatics and legal theory in particular ; juridical common language used in other discourses about law, e.g. in the specialized language of advocates and in no-specialized audience of men-of-the-street. Each of the languages in question is presented in a semantical and pragmatical dimension, and its relations with other languages of legal discourse are discussed
