Estudos Culturais E Crítica Literária

This essay presents a discussion on the importance of the cultural studies as an intersection between form and content of literary texts. Taking as a starting point the interdisciplinarity of the cultural studies, it is proposed a reading based on the importance of the politicization of the literary criticism through hybrid approaches in which the aesthetic and the cultural aspects are understood as part of the literary text. In this debate, we highlight the cultural hybridism as an interpretative method which helps the process of approximating different boundaries of the text as can be verified in the studies of Homi Bhabha, Silviano Santiago and Reinaldo Marques
