Based on the results of an\nethnographic research that we are carrying\nout since 2008 with vulnerable population\nin Buenos Aires, Argentina, in this article we\nexamine social and familiar bonds from the\nperspective of drug use, specifically pasta\nbase called paco. Particularly, we analyze\nthe way that drug use shapes and is shaped\nby the characteristics of social and familiar\nbonds
