This paper is based on the premise that the symbolic capacity, the basis of signification, is a condition of the human integration into language. The establishment of a place of signification in language is explained in this text by mile Benveniste's theorization on the actualization of language [langue] in discourse. Being born in culture Thus, speakers are included in the discourse, establishing the other before themselves and becoming situated in society. Based on this, this study seeks to answer the following question: how to propose a text study based on this approach to language? To support the reflection, analytically, the study of a written text is presented, exploring the way the speaker places forms in syntagms in their discourse to produce meanings for the listener
