The article is a description of the project Ethnography of Musical Cultures in Oaxaca and a selection of its video archive putting emphasis on its musical diversity, such as genres, repertoires, types of musical instruments and ensembles as well as contexts, musical occasions, conditions of musical practice and agents involved in its production and consumption. The intention is to invite the reader to visit on line the whole collection which has been donated to the fonoteca Nacional
