The "Glossary" Part I, is a reference-list of terms used in connection with biography, autobiography, and other branches of life-writing. Most of the entries are based on the Oxford English Dictionary , although some are modern coinages. The "Glossary" has an unavoidable British and American bias. The author invites commentary. Part II will be published in the second issue of Biography
