Proto-historical and Gallo-Roman Burying Site in Izel-les-Equerchin. Thanks to the widening of the Al motorway, close to the Escrebieux valley, the proto-historical and Gallo-Roman occupation discovered under the High Speed Train track could be further spotted during the excavating work. A proto-historical circle, very ill preserved and a few Gallo Roman graves, form the major part of the structures identified. A few ditches structuring the landscape were also unearthead. The bad conditions in which the observation could be carried out limited the scientific conclusions these discoveries could lead to
