Taking into account black female writing, much research has to be developed concerning the role of the speaker. This study focuses on the issues that question the notion of body and gender departing from ethnic aesthetics of black female body and decolonial thought in the poetry of Elisa Lucinda. With a philosophical approach we observe the dimension of difference between race and gender in the alterity relation as well as hierarchical meanings that legitimate racism and female vulnerability. In this research we conclude that the speaker fights against any way of oppression and her body offers resistance when it creates alternatives to overcoming the barriers of male domination aiming at decolonizing black female body and places it on the same value level and reciprocity of genders
