Abstract: This article studies the Spanish Transition to Democracy and the political cycle started in Spain after the public occupations of squares in May 15, 2011. It studies their specific temporal imaginaries, horizons of expectations and spaces of experience (Koselleck). I will argue that, in today's Spain, memorial practices are addressing the recovery of political and aesthetical forms from the 1970s. To do so, I will summarize and discuss academic bibliography on the Spanish Transition to Democracy, including my own work, to argue that the intergenerational transmissions of memory that are happening today in public spaces claim that people's struggle is key element to define the Transition as a period, despite of many historians.Key Words: Spanish Transition, 15-M, Generation, Democracy
