A pesquisa em psicanálise como método de investigação no campo das infâncias

The aim is to discuss the challenges of combining psychoanalytic research in the field of childhood, based on excerpts from the methodological arrangement of two academic researches: a master's dissertation, whose theme was the construction of narratives in images regarding the act of playing, conducted by the children themselves; and an end of course monograph, with a theme concerning the construction of children's narratives based on the use of letters written by children and addressed to the researcher. We highlight the importance of inquiries regarding childhood being developed based on a diverse methodological composition, seeking openness and protecting the child's place of protagonism, as it encompasses their different forms of expression, such as playing, writing, the body's surface, words and images
