"O Papel Da Imagem Em "Uma Revista Para Quem Gosta De Ler

Desenvolve-se, neste artigo, reflexão sobre a importância da análise da multimodalidade, focalizando, em especial, a relação texto e imagem em uma revista que atribui a si mesma valor por privilegiar a escrita. Trata-se da revista piauí, que nasceu com a proposta de romper com os modelos da mídia tradicional, e apresenta-se como uma revista para quem gosta de ler. Interessa-nos analisar os sentidos produzidos por essa multimodalidade em uma mídia na qual as imagens valorizam-se pelo caráter da raridade. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: discurso, multimodalidade, revista piauí. ABSTRACT: We examine in this article the importance of multimodality analysis, focusing on the text-image relation in a magazine that assigns value to itself for privileging writing. We are dealing with Piauí, which arose with the proposal of breaking with the traditional media paradigms and offers itself as "a magazine for those who like to read". What interests us is analyzing the meaning produced by multimodality in a medium in which images are given value for being rare. KEYWORDS: discourse, multimodality, Piauí magazine
