Among the most recent territorial transformations, changes in the logic of\nlocalization, in the physical configuration of space, as well as in the functional\nprograms of the new tertiary spaces are increasingly significant. The growth\nprocess and the territorial spread of activities such as business center services,\nlodging, large retail and leisure establishments, in the urban region of Buenos\nAires during the last two decades, relates to different restructuring modalities of\nmetropolitan centralities and subcentralities. It seems easy to verify relevant trends\nsuch as the continuity of traditional dynamics, morphologies and locations, as well\nas the consolidation of a district network of service activities location, compatible\nwith the sparser configuration and network operation of new global metropolitan\npatterns
