changes in norms and normative structures will occur, beyond the obvious implication that changes in the values of the variables built into the propositions, especially the power difference, will probably result in some changes. Further elaboration of propositions requires additional exploratory and descriptive research. Transformation of the set of propositions into a formal deductive system will be undertaken when the various hypothetical relationships have been thoroughly examined in the light of empirical studies.
