Elementos para el análisis del Proyecto HidroAysén en la Patagonia chilena

y su posible articulacin con los anlisis de la ecologa poltica. El objetivo es contribuir a la investigacin sobre los alcances e impactos de estas megainversiones, entendidas como configuraciones socioecolgicas que representan material y simblicamente el poder de las elites. Sin embargo, la construccin de represas requiere la consolidacin de discursos hegemnicos para realizar grandes transformaciones ambientales y sociales con respaldo ciudadano. A partir de esta argumentacin se analiza el caso de HidroAysn en Chile, enfocado en los discursos que respaldan y justifi can al proyecto desde las compaas elctricas y el gobierno. Finalmente, se exploran las consecuencias que HidroAysn est teniendo en trminos del confl icto ambiental, la tensin entre impulsores y opositores a
