We aim to describe the centrality given to the confrontation of colonial domination in authors of the radical Afro-Latin-Caribbean tradition (defended by Aimé Césaire and Frantz Fanon). By articulating political thought and party strategy, we will compare ideas of their main works, emphasizing the processes of dehumanization and violence that, based on racialization, organized social relations linked to the capitalist mode of production. In theory, these works and singular trajectories of struggle have enriched the understanding of the social reality of the "Global South" and made it possible to open emerging research agendas with postcolonial and decolonial studies. We understand the persistent challenge of "Brazilianizing" this debate, bringing it closer to our reality of dependent capitalism, giving visibility in the national context to aspects of resistance and Black creation
