This reflection article analyzes sexual violence in the \nframework of the armed conflict through the study of \nnational and international legislation that regulates \nthe issue, as well as its development in peace \nprocesses in Colombia since 1991 and the gender \napproach present in the recent agreement with the \nFARC-EP to, subsequently, conduct a characterization \nof the victims of this behavior. Through the socio-legal \nmethod and documentary analysis of the available \ninstitutional information, a cross-section of variables \nwas carried out which made it possible to demonstrate \nthe space, time and gender of the occurrence of the \nconduct object of study which will be presented by \ngraphs and tables. There is also a normative set that \nsactions these illegalities and protects the victims, \nwhose implementation has not been effective in \npeace processes developed between the Government \nof Colombia and the armed actors
