How to ensure the sustainability of digital transformation of museums is a practical problem faced by the museum industry, and government policy is one of the key factors that contributes to this digital transformation program. In order to reveal the museums digitalization policy system of China, this paper collected 52 relevant policies, used policy bibliometric and content analysis methods to construct a three-dimensional analytical framework of policy evolution. This included characteristics of policy external structure, policy instruments and themes, and analyzed the evolution of these policies, and outlined the overall picture of the digitalization of Chinese museums
