This work primarily focuses on understanding Afro-Brazilian architecture from its genealogy to contemporary experiences in this field, highlighting the experiences of Black female architects and the creation of reference standards to analyze this production in contemporary times. To this end, we utilize concepts such as ancestry, diaspora, and cultural hybridity based on the thoughts of Leda Maria Martins, Beatriz Nascimento, and Julio Braga, as well as the notion of time from the Bantu-Kongo cosmology interpreted by philosopher Bunseki Fu-Kiau
