The present work constitutes into a theoretical proposition derived from an investigation related to hospitality and welcoming.It is presented as a reflexive essay.It introduces a typological construct for welcoming in which the axes of synchronicity and symmetry cross mutually.This aims at: a) contributing to the identification of the variants of the welcoming and to the analysis of the dynamics expressed by the conditions and characteristics of hospitality; b) leading to subsidies which could power the study and investigative practice regarding this theme.With the facilitation of the understanding of the theoretical proposition in sight, the strategy adopted has been the following: the presentation of narrative fragments, adapted and collected during the development of the investigative process
