Os jogos tradicionais infantis em brinquedotecas cubanas e brasileiras

This study was classified as both a comparative and an exploratory investigation.It has approached the subject of the traditional children toy libraries for both cubans (Havana) and brazilians (São Paulo).The methodology used included different approaches such as: bibliographical, documental and field research, and, it used different techniques as such: observation, interviews and the application of a structured questionnaire.Results pointed out that traditional games are being used in toy libraries in both countries Brazil and Cuba.The games and toys which were listed in the questionnaire, were found in the toy libraries, such as: marble game, rope jumping, hide and seek, tick-tack-toe, among others.The study showed that traditional games found in both Cuba and Brazil are part of an uoiversal collection of the childish amusement culture.It is concluded that the toy library is an appropriate site for the development of the childish traditional games nowadays
