À travers une description du joik, répertoire vocal pratiqué par les Sámi de l'Arctique européen, et des rapports qu'il entretient avec la constitution de territoires, cet article vise à contribuer au développement d'une géographie musicale attentive aux multiplicités de non-humains avec lesquels les interprètes et auditeurs humains cohabitent. Les chants de paysages et d'animaux permettent aux Sámi d'explorer le terrain et de guider leur attention vers leur environnement. La connaissance du terrain et le chant s'enrichissent mutuellement et contribuent à l'actualisation de territoires
