This thesis focuses on the analysis of a set of schools built between 1949 and 1953 in São Paulo, during the 2nd School Agreement (2o Convênio Escolar), a contract between state and municipality authorities ,which its main purpose was to extirpate the serious lack of classrooms,until the Celebration of the 400th Anniversary of the city of São Paulo
