This text presents the results of a study that analyzed the symbols of african-Brazilian religion, especially Candomblé, in the miniseries Tent of Miracles, inspired by the work of Jorge Amado. The fragments of the chapters, descriptions of scenes and interviews with practitioners contextualize traditions and rituals that are part of the mythology of that area, assisting the comprehension of its representations in the social space
