This dissertation situates itself in the tradition that reflects on the possibility of the concept reconnecting with the sensible in a superior form, as a concrete universal. In a certain sense, we seek a poetic grounding for politics (using "poetic" here in its broadest sense). We consider the conflicting relations between modern poetry and revolution, starting from what became known -with Hegel -as "the death of art," up to the expression of poetry as silence by the so-called poètes maudits of the late 19th century. In order to attain a better understanding of the modern crisis of poetry, we believe it is necessary to return to ancient Greece and analyze the origins of the work of art in Western society, to which we have limited ourselves. Finally, we examine some possible analogies between revolutionary dialectics and mythical poetry, seeking to address the urgency of overcoming the extremely narrow social division of labor
