In 2005, the Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva administration started the University for All Program (Prouni) in order to make room for a pent-up demand for lower classes of young people in higher education.Through the program, the government started to give tax breaks to the private institutions in exchange for granting scholarships, benefiting some 1.4 million people by 2014.The Prouni is inserted into the context of what André Singer called lulism, the governability pact that allowed the execution of gradual reforms with the inclusion of vast portions of the population in the formal labor market and access to consumption. In the case of education, also ensured the resumption of private sector growth stagnated at that time.Allied to public policies, the advancement of flexible accumulation regime and their demand for a particular kind of unskilled labor and low-paid: 95% of the jobs created between 2003 and 2012 were paying up to 1.5 minimum wage. This extended case study used the ethnographic approach in a large private university in São Paulo. With some of his students, the study followed their dynamic life, his relationship with the school and the work and ideological aspects that could clarify political positions, so that was reached two distinct groups of Prouni Scholars that showed how two natural realities.During the research, they proved radically different in their conceptions and had to be faced with decisive moments in his political formation, revealing on the one hand, a category between the worker's project and the lulism and on the other, a dynamic sector post-Fordist capitalism in which aspects of denial of the working condition, tension with the new platforms and a new challenge for the maintenance of Lula's mode of regulation is shown on the agenda
