This work is about the relationship between labor rights and the positivist doctrine.We have studied the influence of Saint-Simon, the founder of positivism, on Marxism, the reception of positivism in Brazil and the impacts of this theory in the history of our country.The objects of this thesis are also the leftist jurists who defended workers' rights, the relations between positivism and fascism, and between the CLT and the Carta del Lavoro.We also study the influence of positivism and eclectic socialisms of the 19th century on the Catholic social doctrine and Rerum Novarum
