Mulheres na coordenação de organizações do terceiro setor no municipio de São Paulo (1990-2000)

This essay had as purpose to study the performance of women in charge of coordination and leadership positions of organizations from São Paulo city, related to two fields in the Third Sector: women rights and popular education for women.The research basis was consolidated through the examination of life experiences which conducted these women to occupy those positions, as well as on the reflection concerning intrinsic and extrinsic relationships established inside and outside these organizations.Through this methodology, the researcher sought to verify the processes involved in the structuration of collective persons concerning the peculiarity of women's problems and also equity/equality in gender relationships.In the same manner, these organizations were examined considering the basis of the social-educational purposes, the general guidelines and the political culture that was assumed and engendered.On what level these political and collective persons -whose majority is partisan from the contestation and mobilization -have been fitting themselves to the late legislation and also to the new administrative and management requirements was also researched.In this context, these organizations and their coordinators retain on non-formal education their ceaseless professional praxis
