The objective of this case study is to explore the role and potential of community associativism in the results of the regional councils in Campo Grande-MS backdrop of the effectiveness, here assumed to be democratic associative effect.The regional councils are defined as participatory consultative bodies created in 1998, by then mayor André Puccinelli from the PMDB as to population and relations between the Executive and the community being formed especially for the actors community associations as resident associations, clubs of mothers and community associations.Such entities would be the basis of this participatory institution that would present great autonomy without the participation of the Executive in the process discussion, selection and presentation of regional priorities from this overview this research seeks to answer questions like: who are the main actors of community associations in regional councils.As the same Act, understand and contribute the results of these spaces?And anyway, if you can light the normative democratic theory to be considered potentially?Plus get these basic questions, answer also tried to locate the regional councils emphasizing the context of your appearance on the political and social context, especially from specific actors so bent around this analytical horizon tried to contribute to expand the emerging debate, especially with regard to the role of the associative actors within the participatory institutions
