This dissertation is the result of a theoretical investment in Anthropology of Childhood and Children and in disability studies that emerged in the United States and the United Kingdom between the 1960s and 1970s.I try to reflect on several conceptions of childhood that are possible from ethnographic works and to think about the discourses of power inherent to the relationships between adults and children, on the one hand.On the other hand, I construct the theoretical course of the social model of disability as an opposing strand to the hegemonic biomedical model, inserting the contributions of feminist epistemology and, later, queer theory and the notion of performative and compulsory identities.Having done this, I invest in the proximity of the two fields, seeking a relation that allows me to think of an anthropological approach of the disabled child, in the sense of building a future project
