The present research aims to understand the reality between indigenous people and Luso-Brazilian during the 18 th century, period when the main activities were the wars, the negotiations and the pacts, which are evidenced in manuscripts and historiographical references through the contact between two peoples Akroá/Xabriabá and the Luso-Brazilians in the northern region of the former captaincy of Goiás.To analyze this time better, it is necessary to study theoretical references and authors whose reflections deal with indigenous wars, pacts, negotiations and the creation of a representation and an imaginary, focused basically on a completely Eurocentric point of view of this New World's population.These researches were important to understand how the brazilian indigenous image was established from a documentation strongly influenced by eurocentric standards, thus, the present research intends to bring the indigenous as active subjects of their own history
